A 12-year-old student, Yahushua Robinson, died after being forced to run laps in extreme heat during a middle school P.E. class in California. His death led to the passage of Senate Bill 1248, now known as Yahushua’s Law, requiring schools to adopt weather safety policies to protect students during hot weather.
