Tahani Hassan and Mohammed Awad, a married couple with a 16-year history, are opening Cafe Tabeeb in Chicago's South Loop in late August 2026. The cafe will focus on single-origin coffee beans from countries like Jamaica and Colombia, alongside future offerings like matcha and teas. Their journey into coffee began during the pandemic, leading to global coffee education trips and eventual business expansion from home roasting to a commercial facility.
