    Mother says son’s remains were thrown in trash after deadly Inkster crash

    A Canton mother filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against Wayne County, the City of Inkster, and officials, alleging they mishandled her 19-year-old son’s remains after a 2023 motorcycle crash. The complaint claims large pieces of the son’s brain and scalp were left in a parking lot and discarded in trash bins after the crash scene was released to the public.
