An off-duty Florida police officer named Chase Thompson was helping his fiancé when a white sedan crashed into pedestrians on Broadway in Nashville. Seeing one victim, Dianne Cooper, who was unconscious and barely breathing, Thompson used his training to begin CPR. Cooper's family later praised his actions, noting that his efforts in those critical moments were instrumental in saving her life.
