Iran's Atomic Energy Organization condemned a U.S. attack on the Darkhovin nuclear power plant site under construction in Khuzestan province, calling it a violation of international law. Jamshid Ghomi, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen, was charged with supplying U.S. technology to Iran's military and nuclear programs, using illicit proceeds to fund a $35 million Newport Beach mansion. Federal prosecutors allege he laundered over $15 million through offshore entities in the British Virgin Islands, Hong Kong, Turkey, and the UAE, falsely reporting funds as a foreign inheritance.
