Franklin police are investigating a daytime ATM robbery at Ascend Federal Credit Union where two suspects stole cash from a maintenance worker. One suspect, Marcell Beaver, was arrested, while the second remains at large. Police are seeking public assistance to identify the second suspect.

George David Treece, a 47-year-old man from Kentucky, was captured after a 24-hour manhunt following his alleged involvement in robbing a Truist Bank and attempting to rob an Ascend Federal Credit Union in Middle Tennessee. Police from Lebanon and Murfreesboro tracked him to Jackson, Tennessee, where he crashed his truck and fled into the woods before being apprehended by authorities.
