Arrowwood Road

Construction has begun on safety projects along Arrowwood Road in Charlotte, addressing long-standing concerns from residents like Wanda Holmes, who survived a hit-and-run accident there in 2024. The improvements, part of the Arrowwood Strategic Investment Area program, include pedestrian beacons and upgraded bus stops funded by a $55 million bond referendum and a newly approved one-cent sales tax.
