    Man faces nearly 200 charges in thefts near Northern Virginia fitness centers

    Kumneger Ayalsew, a 29-year-old from Alexandria, faces nearly 200 charges for stealing from vehicles parked at Northern Virginia fitness centers. Police allege he stole wallets, credit cards, and other items from unlocked cars, using them for fraudulent purchases. Ayalsew was arrested in June, released on his own recognizance in Fairfax County, but remains detained in Arlington County on separate charges.
