    240-million-year-old giant “sand creeper” found hidden in retaining wall

    A 240-million-year-old fossil of an amphibian, Arenaerpeton supinatus, has been discovered in a garden wall in Australia. The fossil is almost perfectly preserved and features rare traces of skin. The ancient river predator was about 1.2 meters long and had fearsome fang-like teeth.
