Construction has begun on Logan Square’s Megamall Plaza, a public space featuring seating, green areas, and a play area, following the displacement of a homeless encampment. The project, delayed by pre-construction fencing and utility work, aims to boost local economic development and community gatherings. City officials and Ald. Anthony Quezada have collaborated with homeless residents to connect them with services.
