- Ancient Christian amulet unearthed after 1,500 years may hold biblical secret
Archaeologists unearthed a 1,500-year-old Christian amulet at the Türkmen Karahöyük site in Konya, Turkey, which contains a thin gold sheet potentially bearing a biblical passage. The excavation also yielded older finds, including two copper seals and a stone seal with a hieroglyphic Luwian inscription dating back to roughly 1500-1400 B.C. These findings demonstrate that the site is a major administrative center in Anatolia, covering multiple historical periods.
