A four-week yoga program significantly improved sleep, reduced fatigue, anxiety, and mood disturbances in 410 cancer survivors, according to a study led by the University of Rochester Medical Center. The Yoga for Cancer Survivors (YOCAS) program involved two weekly sessions of Gentle Hatha and Restorative yoga, breathing exercises, and mindfulness training, with participants reporting moderate-to-large improvements in well-being.
