A spokesperson for Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that his yacht, Launchpad, did not initially hear a radio call for maritime assist issued by a small skiff off the coast of Alaska. The statement reported that by the time the crew reviewed the Coast Guard contact, assistance was already underway by a nearby vessel called the Wilderness Legacy.
