A correspondent for Saudi Arabia's Al Arabiya television in Yemen was killed by a car bomb in Mukalla, Hadramout governorate. The network stated that Mohammed Aydah, who worked for Al Arabiya and its sister channel Al Hadath, was warned a month earlier about a potential threat to his life. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that US-Iran talks in Switzerland were delayed due to Israel's attacks on Lebanon.
