Three Philadelphia-area medical schools have committed to adding at least 40 hours of nutrition education to their curricula as part of a national program called Advancing Nutrition Education, in response to U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s advocacy. The schools aim to better equip future doctors to address chronic diseases linked to poor diets.
