    Côte d’Ivoire Activates Sovereign Digital-Trust PKI System

    Côte d’Ivoire launched its national Sovereign Digital-Trust PKI system on 23 July 2026 in Abidjan, establishing it as the sovereign root of trust for electronic certificates. The system is legally supported by Ordinance 2024-950, ratified in April 2025, which transferred certificate authority from ARTCI to ANSSI-CI.
