    11 people survive plane crash off Florida coast

    A civilian aircraft crashed off the coast of Melbourne, Florida, and 11 people survived. The U.S. Air Force conducted rescue operations with an HC-130J Combat King II and an HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopter. The rescue was carried out by Pararescuemen from the 920th Rescue Wing.

    Florida crew recounts ‘miraculous’ Atlantic plane rescue with fuel low

    A military rescue crew from Florida's 920th rescue wing saved all 11 people from a plane crash in the Atlantic Ocean after the plane made an emergency landing near the Bahamas. The crew had to scramble to safety with only five minutes of fuel left. The rescued passengers and crew were onboard a small Beechcraft twin-propeller aircraft that ditched into the water about 80 miles east of Melbourne on Florida's east coast.
