    E-scooters from Lime and Divvy are now blocked on a mile-long stretch of Sheridan Road in Edgewater via geofencing technology. The Department of Transportation and the 48th Ward implemented the measure to address sidewalk riding in a high-pedestrian-activity area, extending an existing geofence around the Lakefront Trail.
