The European Union and Britain imposed sanctions on Russian military intelligence officers, hackers, and companies linked to a yearslong cyberespionage campaign targeting European governments and critical infrastructure. The EU sanctioned nine people and four entities, including Russia's FSB 16th Center, while Britain targeted 24 individuals and entities, including GRU official Yevgeny Bashev and his company Impuls, accused of supporting cyberattacks and sabotage.
