The Trump administration has approved Saudi Arabia's nuclear enrichment project without safeguards to prevent nuclear weapon development, according to a CNN report. The draft deal, awaiting President Trump's signature, lacks non-proliferation measures and has not been sent to Congress. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has stated the kingdom would acquire nuclear weapons if Iran does, and the country signed a defense pact with Pakistan, a nuclear-armed state.
