Cousin of 10-year-old found dead in woods pleads guilty to her murder. Here’s how long he’ll be in prison

Carson Peters-Berger, the cousin of 10-year-old Lily Peters, pleaded guilty to her murder in 2022. Lily’s body was found in a wooded area near an aunt's home in Chippewa Falls after she had disappeared that night. Judge Steven Gibbs sentenced Peters-Berger to life in prison with the possibility of extended supervision.
