Company creating 100+ jobs with Charlotte expansion

Asahi Kasei opened its expanded Celgard manufacturing facility at 13610 S. Ridge Drive in Charlotte. The facility, which handles wet-process lithium-ion battery separators, is a key part of Asahi Kasei's North American expansion and ties into a deal with Toyota. This expansion is expected to create over 100 jobs in the area.
