Parents accused of keeping infant son’s remains in concrete-filled tote in closet

A North Dakota couple, Craig and Sarah Kerzmann, are facing felony charges for allegedly encasing their deceased infant son's remains in concrete inside a plastic tote. Authorities reported that after the baby died while they were living in Texas in 2023, police found the filled tote in the couple’s Minot closet. The Kerzmanns were charged by Ward County prosecutors with failure to report the corpse of a child and disturbing a human burial site.
