Person shot in foot after verbal argument on Detroit’s east side; suspect fled in unknown direction

A shooting occurred on the east side of Detroit, injuring a person with a gunshot wound to the left foot following what police believe was a verbal argument. Authorities responded to the 3000 block of Heidelberg Street and found that the suspect produced a handgun before fleeing the scene. Police are currently investigating the preliminary details.
