Takaichi Says Japan Will ‘Protect’ ICC From US Push to Dismantle

Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi stated that Japan intends to defend the International Criminal Court (ICC). She explained this stance was prompted by increasing pressure placed on the ICC by the US, which recently demonstrated its push through sanctions targeting a Japanese president.
