Ship disabled by attack in Strait of Hormuz and other news from around the Middle East

An oil tanker was reportedly hit by an unknown projectile off the coast of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz, disabling it. Separately, a high-level Pakistani delegation concluded talks in Tehran with Iranian officials regarding reopening the strait and ending the conflict. Pakistani sources described the meeting as having been "very positive," expressing hope for lasting peace in the region.
