Suspect in custody following police chase that ended at edge of Plantation canal, cops say

Police were involved in a chase on Monday night in Plantation after a suspect's vehicle did not comply with commands to pull over. The pursuit began near North University Drive and Cleary Boulevard, eventually leading to the suspect exiting the car at the edge of a canal and police taking him into custody.
