Parents react to ‘operator error’ that caused ride accident at TN fair: ‘Remember my shoes flying off’

State investigators determined that "operator error" caused an accident on a carnival ride at the Wilson County-Tennessee State Fair last week. The incident involved the Wave Swinger, injuring nine people, four of whom were hospitalized. As a result, the person who ran the ride will no longer operate it and other operators will receive additional training.
