‘Keep us up in prayer’: Family mourns woman killed in random liquor store shooting on Detroit’s east side
Faith Williams and her niece, Katriana Cowan, were shot at the Eastside Liquor store on Detroit’s east side by a 15-year-old boy who pulled out a gun and fired before running off. The shooting was described as senseless and seemingly random. Although the teen turned himself in and is now in custody, charges are expected from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
