‘Brand new heart’: Kingswood Community Center the latest jewel in rejuvenation of Wilmington’s Riverside

The Kingswood Community Center, described as a brand new facility, will open this fall in Wilmington’s rejuvenating Riverside neighborhood. The massive complex features modern classrooms for an expanding preschool program, a commercial kitchen and dining room, and a gymnasium that can accommodate 600 spectators or 1,500 guests. Upstairs, the center also houses a pediatric health center with approximately 80 examination rooms.
