California dad paralyzed from neck down after diving into ocean to rescue child
A California father named Josh Collette was paralyzed from the neck down after diving into the ocean at Riviera Beach to rescue a child caught in a rip current. After striking rocks or a sandbar upon entry, Collette was immediately injured, although the child he helped was safely removed from the water. His family is raising funds through GoFundMe to cover his extensive medical bills and long-term care.
