Personal care products are awash in unlabeled toxic chemicals, study finds
A new study found that common personal care products frequently contain unlabeled toxic chemicals. Testing over 110 items ranging from shampoo to baby lotions showed evidence of these chemicals in about 85%. Furthermore, 26% of products labeled "eco," "green," or "natural" contained at least one dangerous compound.
