The CEO of $1.2 billion learning platform Preply says it all started with his online search for an English tutor
Kirill Bigai, CEO of Preply, developed the $1.2 billion learning platform after his personal search for an English tutor via Skype. The company and cofounder Dmytro Voloshyn started in Kyiv, Ukraine, enduring years of financial hardship while working side jobs to bootstrap the operation. Today, the platform connects learners across 180 countries and more than 90 languages.
