2 rescued off India’s eastern coast after distress alert from Panama-flagged ‌cargo ship

A search and rescue operation was conducted off India’s eastern coast after a distress alert regarding a Panama-flagged vessel. Two crew members from the cargo ship MV Ocean Winner were rescued, while joint operations by the Indian Coast Guard and Indian Navy continued searching for remaining crew. The cargo ship sank in the Bay of Bengal carrying iron ore.
