FDNY data shows lithium-ion battery fires on track to surpass last year’s totals
FDNY data shows that 282 lithium-ion battery fires have been investigated so far this year by fire officials. This figure is compared to a total of 292 such incidents recorded in all of last year, according to FDNY data.
