Tap-to-pay technology coming to Walmart, Sam’s Club

Customers will soon be able to use tap-to-pay technology at Walmart and its Sam’s Club stores. Contactless payment options begin Monday in select locations, with all U.S. Walmarts and Sam’s Clubs expected to feature the capability by the end of the year. Availability at gas stations is scheduled for the middle of 2027.
