Florida abandoned transparency in gift to Trump library
Florida officials voted to donate a 2.63-acre parcel in downtown Miami, appraised at over $66 million, intended for Donald Trump’s future presidential library. Civil rights advocate Marvin Dunn filed a lawsuit alleging the land transfer violated open government law due to lack of transparency and questioned state gifting to the president. DeSantis has maintained that having the library located in Miami would be "good for Florida."
