Man arrested for hit-and-run crash that killed family’s dog in Culver City

A man was arrested in Culver City for a hit-and-run crash that resulted in the death of a family's dog. The incident occurred on Aug. 14 near Higuera Street and Lucerne Avenue. Police responded after a person walking their dog through a marked crosswalk was involved in the collision with an SUV driver.
