Concerns about objectivity after Stars and Stripes publisher retires — or was fired

Max Lederer, publisher of Stars and Stripes, announced his retirement this week after 30 years with the newspaper. In his announcement, Lederer referenced a difference between his vision and that of the Defense Department.
