WTOP rides shotgun at 140 mph on DC’s Freedom 250 Grand Prix course

WTOP rode shotgun in a Chevrolet Corvette Z06, reaching about 140 mph on streets surrounding the National Mall during tests for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix. Ken Morris and Markwayne Mullin also took high-speed previews of the course. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser noted that events like the Grand Prix provide a significant economic boost to the area.
