Retaining wall collapse leads to landslide in Burke County South Mountains

A retaining wall collapsed in southern Burke County after causing a landslide near Hidden Hill Venue on Burkemont Road. County officials reported that while the roadway is threatened by the slide, Burkemont remains passable.
