Medical records, SSNs, and bank details exposed in CareCloud data breach

Healthcare technology giant CareCloud confirmed a data breach impacting over 3.75 million individuals after an unauthorized third party accessed its Amazon Web Services environment between March 10 and March 16, 2026. The stolen data was highly sensitive, reportedly including full names, Social Security numbers, medical records, bank account details, and full credit card data. CareCloud stressed the importance of taking steps like changing passwords and enabling two-factor authentication to protect affected customers.
