Apple spyware warning hits iPhones in 110 countries
Apple has issued security warnings regarding sophisticated spyware, confirming notifications were sent on August 13 to targeted users in 110 countries, with over 150 total. These high-confidence alerts warn that "Apple detected a mercenary spyware attack," which are described as being much more advanced than common scams. The warning can now appear on the iPhone Lock Screen, Settings, via email, and upon signing into Apple's account website.
