Are you behind on your property taxes? A Wayne County relief program is back.

Wayne County revived a property tax relief program known as PAYS to help residents reduce delinquent taxes and avoid foreclosure. Financially struggling homeowners must first apply for Detroit’s Homeowners Property Exemption (HOPE) program, which is the pathway to qualify for county assistance. Additional tax debt can potentially be eliminated through the Gilbert Family Foundation’s Detroit Tax Relief Fund.
