Interstate closed for deadly crash in Nashville. Here’s what police say happened

A violent crash involving a semi and another vehicle occurred overnight on I-24 East near Antioch, leaving at least one person dead in Nashville. The accident happened near the Old Hickory Blvd. exit ramp and caused the collision vehicle to catch fire. All eastbound lanes of I-24 are currently closed for investigation and crews working to remove wreckage, with reopening expected around 6 a.m.
