Charter plane crashes near remote radar site in western Alaska, killing all 8 aboard
A charter plane carrying two pilots and six passengers crashed near Cape Newenham Long Range Radar Site in western Alaska on Thursday, resulting in the death of all eight people aboard. The aircraft was operated by Security Aviation and had been flying from Anchorage to Cape Newenham. Following the crash, the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center launched a search-and-rescue mission.
