India Economic Growth May Beat RBI’s 6.7% Forecast, Gupta Says
Deputy Governor Poonam Gupta stated that India's economic growth may reach closer to 7% in the financial year through March. This projected pace is stronger than the central bank’s existing 6.7% forecast from the RBI. Such a rate would maintain India among the world's fastest-growing major economies.
