New Castle Rock PD program to help officers identify legal e-bikes, illegal e-motos on the road
Castle Rock PD launched a new E-Bike Classification Program allowing owners to voluntarily inspect their e-bikes for legality. The program aims to help officers visually classify bikes and improve public education regarding where and how electric bikes can be ridden. Officers confirmed that while stickers aid identification, enforcement will continue for reckless behavior regardless of classification.
