Banking Regulator Races to Finalize GENIUS Act Stablecoin Rules

OCC Comptroller Jonathan Gould stated that the agency is moving at a rapid pace to finalize stablecoin rules related to the GENIUS Act. He announced this update during the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium, noting that the goal is now to meet a January statutory deadline after missing an earlier target in July.
