Non-Profit Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Delivers Drug Access to Rural Hospitals
Civica Rx, a non-profit generic pharmaceutical company, partnered with the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to launch the Civica Rural Hospital program. This initiative aims to help rural hospitals maintain access to essential generic drugs during shortages at fair prices. The program is currently active in nine states: Hawaii, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
